Since January 2026, the operation of the Vanneuville House has once again been under the management of the Department of Culture & Heritage. Visit this page on the Koksijde website for more information about opening hours and guided tours/events.

Permanent exhibit

Hidden in the beautiful North Dunes (Noordduinen), you will find the Vanneuville House. In this recently restored cottage, you will be immersed in the world of Walter Vilain (1938-2019), an artist from Koksijde. The young Walter was influenced by the likes of Paul Delvaux and George Grard, famous masters from the 'School of Sint-Idesbald'. Among other things, the Vanneuville House displays a permanent collection of artworks by Walter Vilain.
