Hidden amidst the dunes, near the South Abbey Mill, lies the picturesque Vanneuville House. There, you will discover, among other things, a permanent collection of artworks by the late Walter Vilain.

Every first Saturday of the month, you can visit the museum free of charge. Welcome!

After several centuries, there is once again a brewery on the grounds of the abbey of Koksijde! Discover the new gem on the historic site of Ten Bogaerde. Where history, culture and flavours meet. Ideal to combine with a visit to the museum.

Pray and work. Ora et labora. The monks couldn’t get away from it. But let’s face it : even in the Middle Ages, there had to be time to unwind once in a while! On Pieter Pourbus’ 16th-century map of the abbey, you can clearly see pitches for several lawn games. The museum has recreated them, and you can have fun to your heart’s content!
